I am writing about some cases I have seen at my clinic . So I can give Advices to thefamilies .

1- Acute Gastro enteritis from age 1year to age 13 years . most

children come to the clinic complaining of :

1)   Vomiting.

2)   Diarrhea  .

3)   Fever.

4)   Abd. Pain

5)   With or with out dehydration.

Some need investigations

Some need admissions  to the hospital , but mostly          treated outpatient.     Advices to the family :-

1 – Any child has these symptoms should be taken to the nearest clinic for exemination.

2 – Not all have teething problem as mother says .

3 – Sometimes need to start with O.R.S.

2 – Wheezy chest +  infections  now days because of change of the weathier

, many children have wheezy chest ( fast Breathing cough .fever,

irritability ) .

Advices :

Any child has the all or some of the above should be taken to

Pediatric specialist for evaluation because sometimes may lead to chest infections .

.

3 – Chicken pox :

I have seen few cases of different age group mostly from 6 mo to

13 years .All coming by rash all over the body even inside mouth

rhe   with itching problem, sometimes with high temp. it can be spread

form child to other ,symptomatic treatment may be the only therapy.

Mother should know everything about the child illnes
